Spawning Log - Marlin and Pearl

Rotifers have been straightened out thanks to the bf I have three healthy cultures going and it's a darn good thing because I discovered neon goby eggs last night! Marlin and Pearl have been caring for their own eggs for a few clutches now, I just pull the eggs 2 nights before they are all due to hatch. Some of them hatch early and I'd rather those guys not get eaten

Pulled the nest for hatching tonight, 888 eggs! They've been going up by about 20 each nest...kinda weird that it's a steady increase!

Hatched out ~880 babies Friday night There are SO many of them in that 10 gallon it's nuts!

Another ~900 egg nest is due to hatch tonight Got the larval tank all ready to go and full of rotifers

After a month break Marlin and Pearl laid another nest today! It's a small one for them but I'm just glad I've got eggs from that pair again!

Another big nest laid today, despite the broodstock rack being moved clear across the room and their cubicle being drained down to about 4". Good fish

After an absolute eternity these guys decided to lay some eggs for me today It's a small nest but I'm just happy they're laying again!
